Boilermaker

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabrication of structural steel assemblies, Balustrades, and general fabrication . The Boilermaker will work with a variety of materials, including steel, Tig for stainless would be advantageous but not essential. Able to use a range of tools and equipment to complete their work.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of assemblies
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a variety of tools and equipment, including hand and power tools, welding equipment, and cutting torches
• Fabricate and assemble metal parts, be able to weld using MIG – Flux core, Tig is beneficial
• Ability to work Autonomously and efficiently
• Be familiar with 1554 structural fabrication
• Hold a current forklift license
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, supervisors and management to complete projects

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of welding,
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Familiarity with a variety of hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
