Fashion Production Assistant

Fixed-Term Contract – 38 hours per week

Capalaba, QLD (Brisbane)

Base salary: FTE Adult rate of $51,084 + superannuation

We produce a range of garments for everyday training and exercise as well as custom competitive wear for gymnastics teams all over the world.

Sylvia P Group is currently hiring Production Assistants to join any of your preferred departments listed below:

1. Crystal Embellishment
2. Fabric Cutting
3. Fabric Gluing
4. Warehouse packing

This is a fulltime fixed term role for until end of 2026 with the possibility of becoming a fulltime permanent.

The hours for Crystal Embellishment, Fabric Cutting, Fabric Gluing are Monday-Thursday, starting at 7am – 3.30pm and Friday 7am – 1.30pm.

While the hours for warehouse packing is Monday-Thursday, starting at 8am – 4.30pm and Friday 8am – 2.30pm.

1. Crystal Embellishment

• Operate a heat press machine to apply crystals and embellishments to our garments
• Follow the correct positioning of embellishments outlined on the job ticket

2. Fabric Cutting

• Laying up fabric onto the automated cutting machine.
• Off-loading cut panels, sorting and distribute throughout our factories

3. Fabric Gluing

• Using a gluing spray to apply fabrics to one another based on template supplied
• Following instructions outlined on the job ticket

4. Warehouse packing

• Ensure items are up to company standards before packaging them
• Neatly and timely packaging of items
