Struber is growing in Sydney, and we’re looking for a Consultant with strong pre‑contract communications experience to support bids, tenders and early‑stage pursuits across the infrastructure sector.
This role suits someone early–mid career who enjoys writing, structuring and refining submissions, shaping value propositions, and working at the front end of infrastructure projects – while continuing to build broader communications and engagement consulting capability.

About the Role
As a Consultant, you’ll be a key contributor to pre‑contract and pursuit activity, with exposure to live project delivery as your capability grows.
You will:
Deliver pre‑contract, bids and tenders
Support bids, tenders, EOIs and proposals across infrastructure and professional services
Draft and edit written responses, methodologies, case studies, CVs and capability statements
Help shape win themes, value propositions and submission narratives
Translate complex technical and strategic inputs into clear, compelling language
Coordinate inputs, versions, templates and deadlines to support on‑time submissions
Support communications and engagement consulting
Develop communications materials, messaging and reports
Assist with stakeholder, community and engagement‑focused content
Support workshops, briefings and interviews as required
Operate as a Consultant at Struber
Conduct research, insights gathering and analysis
Maintain documentation, templates and project materials
Work collaboratively with internal teams, partners and clients
Bring pace, professionalism and attention to detail to every piece of work
About You
You enjoy structured work, sharp writing, and producing high‑quality outputs under time pressure.
You may come from:
Pre‑contract, bids or tender roles in consulting, infrastructure, engineering or advisory
Communications, marketing or corporate affairs roles with strong submission experience
Government, utilities or professional services environments
Early consulting or project coordination roles with proposal exposure
Your strengths include:
Excellent writing, editing and synthesis skills
Experience contributing to bids, tenders or submissions
Strong organisation, version control and deadline management
Ability to quickly understand complex subject matter
Curiosity, accountability and a desire to grow as a consultant
