What we’re looking for
Current Forklift Licence (LF essential, LO highly regarded)
Strong understanding of warehousing procedures, product handling, and care
Solid logistics and freight coordination experience
Proven leadership ability with experience motivating and guiding teams
Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Strong commitment to Occupational Health & Safety standards
Good computer skills and experience using warehouse management systems
Flexibility to work shifts between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement
Experience in the steel or structural steel industry (highly regarded)
Key responsibilities
Supervise and support daily despatch operations
Maintain high housekeeping standards and warehouse organisation
Communicate with customers regarding safe pickup procedures
Liaise with freight providers and transport partners
Provide backup support for documentation control and logistics functions
Deliver ongoing OH&S guidance and lead by example in workplace safety
Drive continuous improvement across warehouse processes and team development
