Summary/Objective
STACK is seeking an Electrical Network Coordinator to support the operation, maintenance and optimisation of the site-wide LV and HV electrical networks across the Truganina campus. As a key technical leader within the Critical Operations team, this role ensures safe, compliant and reliable operation of all electrical systems and contributes to the development and execution of engineering programs across LV/HV operations, safety, team performance, communication and knowledge.
The Electrical Network Coordinator plays a vital role in achieving STACK’s 100% uptime commitment, ensuring all mission-critical electrical infrastructure performs to the highest standards and remains fully compliant with customer SLAs, certifications and regulatory requirements. The role also upholds STACK’s concierge-level customer service, providing clear, confident and professional support when engaging with customers, partners and internal stakeholders.

Operations
Foster and uphold a culture of working safely across all engineering operations.
Support LV and HV switching activities for delivery and operations across internal and external stakeholders.
Support compliance with Victorian Blue Book requirements and ensure processes conform to all regulatory obligations.
Execute all aspects of data centre operations including operation, maintenance and repair of mission‑critical electrical equipment to ensure 100% uptime and compliance with customer SLAs and certifications.
Support Facilities Engineering team members to achieve high performance, including coaching and development.
Lead development, implementation and auditing of MOPs, SOPs and EOPs aligned with STACK and industry best practice.
Interface with BMS and automation tools to support operational efficiency and energy performance.
Manage and maintain vendor relationships supporting electrical maintenance and repair.
Provide operational support during absence of the Electrical Engineering Manager.
Provide oversight and leadership for assigned projects, including coordination of FM Services Provider(s) and contractors.
Troubleshoot and support root‑cause analysis for electrical issues.
Conduct routine rounds to ensure system integrity.
Provide professional, technically competent customer‑facing communication, aligned with STACK’s concierge‑level customer experience.
Maintain compliance with environmental, building, fire and safety regulations.
Conduct hazard identification inspections and report incidents within required timeframes.
Prepare and interpret technical documentation including MOPs, SOPs, EOPs, incident summaries and RCA reporting.
Maintain strong working relationships with FM services, subcontractors, suppliers and consultants.
Assist in managing FM delivery in accordance with KPIs and SLAs.
Review and prepare reports and operational documentation as required.
Competencies

HV Authorised Person.
High‑level written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform under pressure.
Expert knowledge of electrical systems and strong cross‑discipline understanding of mechanical systems (UPS, transformers, PDU/RPP, chillers, CRAH/CRAC, STS, ATS, fire systems).
Strong understanding of data centre commissioning standards.
Ability to coordinate and supervise contractors.
Required Education and Experience
Extensive operational knowledge of electrical distribution, switchgear, transformers, ATS, UPS, STS, battery systems, generators and PDUs.
Strong knowledge of metering, remote switching, digital controls and BMS.
Effective communication and customer interaction skills.
Strong project management, troubleshooting and organisational capabilities.
Understanding of local and national regulatory codes and permit processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; familiarity with Project, Visio or AutoCAD.
Preferred Education and Experience
HV Authorised Person status highly regarded.
Electrical or Mechanical trade licence or certification.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent professional experience.
Recent Electrical Engineering graduates are encouraged to apply; STACK provides structured development and supervision to build competency in mission-critical electrical environments.
Experience with power quality analysis, protection coordination reviews.
Competent use of CMMS, BMS, DCIM and related maintenance tools.
1–3 years’ experience in a data centre or mission-critical operations environment.
Additional Eligibility Requirements
Willingness to work outside standard business hours, including weekends, nights, public holidays and participation in an on-call roster.
Comfortable operating in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance Requirements
• Must be able to attain and hold NV1 security clearance.
