Build a Manufacturing Capability From the Ground Up
We are embarking on a strategic initiative to establish our first in-house manufacturing capability to support mission-critical machineries required for our expanding data centre operations.
As a key member of the Delivery Leadership team the Director Offsite Delivery will assist with the development and execution of Stack offsite manufacturing strategies. Offsite Delivery functions include the pre-fabrication of Electrical SKIDS and Power Train Units (PTU). The Offsite Delivery function will support all APAC data centre build projects to enable greater scalability, cost performance, quality and improved safety. Oversee all aspects of design, engineering, establishment of offsite manufacturing capability, logistics and supply chain in line with Stack Delivery objectives.
This is a high impact strategic role and we are seeking an experienced manufacturing executive to architect and deliver this transformation – from strategy and investment case through to plant establishment and operational readiness.

Key Areas of Responsibility
Leadership responsible for the establishment of Stack Offsite manufacturing capability including offsite manufacturing facilities, plant, process and equipment.
Develop and implement comprehensive process and production project engineering delivery strategies.
Contribute to the programming of offsite plant to support APAC Delivery construction programs and strategy.
Work closely with key suppliers to ensure delivery of plant and equipment in line with the scheduling of installation services.
Oversee production planning and scheduling in conjunction with the Stack Project Managers & Director, plan and review offsite manufacturing capacity focussed on manufacturing supply timelines supporting APAC projects.
Build and manage a team to support the offsite manufacturing centre that provide detailed design services, logistics & supply chain management, production line supervision and commissioning activities.
Oversee workforce training & skill development. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and collaboration
Ensure the Stack Project Manager & Director is promptly advised on any offsite issues that have the potential to cause delay, variations or disruption to the project contract, timelines, and scope of works
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead manufacturing initiatives to enhance overall offsite performance, reduce waste and costs resulting in margin improvement.
Responsible for Offsite Manufacturing budgets working with Project Directors to develop budgets, forecast cashflow, procure necessary inputs and validate supplier invoices and variations.
Champion robust quality systems and safety culture ensuring compliance with Stack WHS and environmental policies.
Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
Proven experience in an operational leadership role with strong background in manufacturing, production line or technical assembly.
Sound financial acumen demonstrated success in driving lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Impeccable planning and organising skills
Exceptional leadership skills, with ability to build and lead high performing teams.
Strong understanding and working knowledge of workplace safety, risk and compliance in a manufacturing environment.
Commercially astute, experience managing CAPEX budgets $50m+.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders across multiple geographies.
Successfully led at least one greenfield manufacturing build will be a great advantage.
Experience in industrial equipment, engineered products, power systems, cooling systems, or complex assemblies.
