The Position:

The Applications Analyst plays a key role in supporting business growth by improving and optimizing core enterprise systems. This position focuses on streamlining processes, reducing manual effort, improving system capability, and enabling scalable operations across the organization.

The role works cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and other business teams to ensure systems evolve alongside company growth.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Act as a first point of contact for application-related incidents and service requests.
  • Support and enhance core enterprise applications to improve operational efficiency
  • Identify system gaps and implement configuration improvements
  • Ensure systems scale effectively as business volume and complexity increase
  • Support system integrations and data consistency across platforms
  • Document resolutions, workarounds, and known issues in the knowledge base.
  • Maintain accurate records of user access and licensing.
  • Assist with application monitoring and routine health checks.
  • Assist with testing of changes, patches, and upgrades before release.
  • Maintain and update user guides, FAQs, and process documentation.
  • Identify recurring issues and suggest process, training, or configuration improvements.
  • Improve approval workflows, reporting flows, and cross-system processes
  • Support development of business reporting and dashboards (Power BI exposure desirable)
  • Gather and translate business requirements into system solutions
  • Coordinate testing and deployment of system changes
  • Provide guidance and training to ensure effective system usage

Must have Experience:

  • 2–3 years’ experience in applications support role.
  • Experience supporting and improving enterprise/business applications
  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems NetSuite experience desirable
  • Familiarity with reporting tools and workflow automation tools
  • Understanding of business applications and SaaS platforms.
  • •Experience with user account management and access/permissions administration.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks/tickets and prioritise effectively

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to one or more of: Procore, PagerDuty, Celigo.
  • Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for identity and access management
  • Understanding of basic ITIL concepts (incidents, requests, changes, problems).
  • Relevant IT-related qualification (certificate, diploma or degree).
  • Entry-level certifications (e.g. Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, ITIL Foundation, NetSuite or similar SaaS admin).
