SSO Handling & Storage is seeking enthusiastic Basic Installers to join our team.
No prior experience is necessary—we’ll provide the training you need to succeed!
As an Installer, you’ll play a vital role in helping us deliver exceptional results to our clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with installing and dismantling storage systems, including pallet racking, shelving, and other equipment.
- Supporting the team with general labour tasks, such as carrying materials and setting up equipment.
- Following instructions and working safely in a team environment.
- Learning the tools of the trade and gaining valuable on-site experience.
- Delivering jobs and materials to sites or clients
We Are Looking For:
We’re not looking for experts—just reliable and motivated individuals ready to learn!
Skills and Attributes:
- A positive attitude and eagerness to work hard.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg comfortably.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Requirements:
- A valid Driver’s License and reliable transport.
- Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain one).
- Asbestos Awareness (or willingness to obtain one)
- Silica Awareness (or willingness to obtain one).
- Steel-cap boots
Preferred:
• Working at Heights certification
• Elevated Work Platform (EWP) license
• Forklift license
Optional:
• HR+ License
Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with clients, suppliers, and team members.
• Proficiency in reading technical plans and executing installations accordingly.
Other Requirements:
• Physically fit and comfortable working on active construction sites.
• Access to reliable transport.
