About You – The Candidate We’re Looking For
You are an enthusiastic IT professional with 5+ years, who has developed their skills in a small to medium business environment working in a diverse internal IT support role. You enjoy owning problems end-to-end, whilst supporting a broad range of technologies, You’re a genuine all-rounder and if you haven’t got the experience in a particular area your able to learn quickly as your adaptable, you embrace change and new tech readily.
You will have some or all of the following:
• Qualifications in Information Technology and/or current Microsoft certifications.
• A practical, service-oriented mindset – you’re comfortable engaging directly with users at all levels using strong verbal and written communication skills, by explaining technical issues clearly, and following through until issues are resolved.
• Language fluency in English.
• Knowledge and/or interest in Machine Learning algorithms and AI technology.
• Current Australian Working rights.
The Role
The IT Administrator will provide support to all levels of our business, ensuring that our tech is secure, reliable and fit for purpose. You will also help mentor team members, supporting their technical development, and contribute to internal Best Practice through liaising with colleagues around the world.
In this role you can expect to:
• Provide Level 2-3 support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Take ownership to resolve user issues, escalating where necessary and record outcomes.
• Manage Windows computers via Intune.
• Manage Windows Servers, Hyper-V, networking, wifi and backups.
• Administer Microsoft 365 – Active Directory, Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, Exchange, Intune, Defender and Office suite.
• Diagnose and resolve network-related issues (DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi).
• Work with Linux systems where required.
• Microsoft Azure Management experience.
• Administer Microsoft Teams Rooms and Audio-visual networking.
• Provide support in the Fortinet environment.
