Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including customer service, sales, inventory management, and staff supervision. The Assistant Store Manager will also be responsible for ensuring that the store meets or exceeds sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in all aspects of store operations, including customer service, sales, inventory management, and staff supervision
- Ensure that the store meets or exceeds sales targets and customer satisfaction goals
- Train and develop staff to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales targets
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure that the store is well-stocked at all times
- Assist in the preparation of sales reports and other administrative tasks as required
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Assist in the implementation of marketing and promotional activities to drive sales
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail management, preferably in a similar role
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
- Knowledge of inventory management and sales reporting systems
