Our flagship at Canterbury League Club it’s packed with immersive virtual games — including Cricket, Tennis, Baseball, Lacrosse, Darts, Golf, and Racing — for kids and adults alike.

With two venues already open and more planned across Australia in the next three years, it’s a seriously exciting time to join the team.

The Role: Venue Manager (Canterbury)

We’re on the hunt for an energetic, hands-on Venue Manager who can lead from the front, drive our guest experience to new heights, and help us build a strong, vibrant team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all day-to-day venue operations and lead the team.
  • Handle general enquiries, complaints, and incident management with professionalism.
  • Work closely with the bookings team to deliver unforgettable group events (activities + F&B).
  • Drive in-venue marketing, promotions, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Identify new business opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and operational improvements.
  • Manage cash handling, stock control, budgeting, and financial targets.
  • Recruit, onboard, roster, train, and develop team members.
  • Build a high-performing team culture through coaching and team activities.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot simulator equipment (full training provided).
  • Ensure health & safety, compliance, RSA, and Club policies are always upheld.
  • Coordinate with the Canterbury League Club maintenance and warehouse teams.

What You’ll Need:

  • RSA & First Aid certifications (or willing to obtain).
  • 2+ years of management experience in hospitality, entertainment, or events.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and guest service skills.
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and solutions-focused.
  • A passion for creating memorable experiences for guests.
  • A curious mind and a drive for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work weekends and across rotating shifts.
