About the role and you

SEN is looking for an experienced People & Culture Advisor to join the team. Reporting to the General Manager – People & Culture, you’ll play a key role in supporting our people strategy and fostering a positive employee experience across the business.

The main duties include:

  • Provide expert, day‑to‑day HR guidance to leaders and employees, independently managing complex ER matters.
  • Lead and support end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding, and induction, ensuring a seamless and positive employee experience.
  • Drive performance management activities, coaching leaders and supporting capability building, development planning, and meaningful feedback practices.
  • Take ownership of key People & Culture projects, policy development, and compliance requirements, ensuring high standards and continuous improvement.
  • Act as a culture champion, promoting SEN’s values and fostering an inclusive, engaged, and high‑performing workplace.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Demonstrated experience in a People & Culture / HR Advisor role, with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience in applying sound judgement to independently manage and resolve complex ER issues and case management.
  • In‑depth knowledge of HR processes, contemporary employment legislation, industrial instruments, and best‑practice people operations.
  • Proven capability in HR analytics, insights, and reporting to support data‑driven decision making.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels.
  • Thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment and works collaboratively across teams.
  • Proactive approach to continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance processes and drive positive change.
  • Strong commitment to creating a positive employee experience and contributing to a high‑performance, people‑centred culture.
