Maintenance Electrician
Specialised Breeders Australia (SBA) is Australia’s leading

We are seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our
team—someone who is not only a fully qualified electrician, but who brings
initiative, collaboration, and a proactive approach to maintaining our plant
and equipment. This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys preventative
maintenance, problem‑solving, and building strong working relationships
across a diverse organisation. You will be part of a small, supportive team and
report directly to the Facility Services Manager.
About You
You will thrive in this role if you are:
• A fully
qualified electrician with experience in commercial and industrial environments
• Skilled
in fault finding with a strong understanding of control circuits
• Able to
attend to machinery and equipment repairs and breakdowns in a timely manner
• Experienced
in performing preventative and corrective maintenance in line with planned and
unplanned schedules
• Capable
of inspecting, analysing, and recording critical mechanical information
• Committed
to embedding safety standards into all maintenance and repair activities
• Willing
to participate in an on‑call roster for repair work
• Experienced
with data and communications cabling
• Flexible,
positive, and able to adapt to changing and multiple demands
• An
effective communicator who ensures the right services are delivered at the
right time
• A
practical, solutions‑focused team player
• Willing
to assist other trades during urgent works
Experience within the poultry industry will be highly
regarded. Computer competency and the ability to manage competing priorities
are essential.

Additional Requirements
• Full
working rights in Australia
• Compliance

pigs and not residing with anyone who works with these species
• Successful
completion of reference checks and a pre‑employment medical prior to a
formal offer
• A current
Victorian driver’s licence
• Reasonable
overtime, which forms part of the negotiated salary package
