So, what can you expect to do?
- Service, maintain, and repair fleet vehicles, plant, and equipment
- Primarily Toyota fleet for vehicles, wide range for Landscaping machinery
- Work on machinery used in civil, construction, and grounds maintenance
- Diagnose faults and complete mechanical repairs efficiently
- Attend on-site breakdowns across the region as required
- Carry out repairs in the workshop and in the field
- Complete electronic job cards, inspections, and service reports
- Manage preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime
- Ensure all fleet assets meet safety and compliance standards
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
- Liaise with operations teams to prioritise fleet availability
What are we looking for?
- Motor mechanic (all relevant trade backgrounds considered)
- Experience servicing vehicles and trailers up to 4.5T GVM
- Basic computer skills for job management systems
- High attention to detail with a “fix it properly the first time” mindset
- Ability to work independently in the field and support the team when needed
What will you need?
- Trade qualification
- Current Motor Vehicle Repairer’s Licence
- Current driver’s licence
- Experience in light vehicle servicing and repairs
- Diesel experience desirable
- Truck and/or forklift licence advantageous but not essential
