The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead a high‑impact internal transformation product initiative, using an AI‑first lens to drive the project forward at speed. This role focuses on working very closely with internal teams to design and deliver an AI-led transformation initiative, while keeping our customers at the heart of everything we do.
You’ll connect the dots across teams, shaping the initiative end to end and using AI capabilities to drive change with ease and efficiency. A key part of the role is building something that is deliberately designed to be handed over, enabling teams to confidently own, manage, and scale it over time.
What You’ll Do
You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams across Smokeball to deeply understand problems, workflows, and opportunities, using discovery methods that keep you connected to real customer needs. By combining customer insight with internal feedback and emerging AI capabilities, you’ll help shape and drive meaningful internal transformation that ultimately improves customer outcomes.
You’ll own the vision and roadmap for an AI-led transformation product initiative, partnering day-to-day with Design, Engineering, and Delivery to prioritise work and manage cross-team dependencies. With a strong focus on AI-first experiences, you’ll turn capabilities such as LLMs and agentic workflows into clear, intuitive solutions that drive change with ease and efficiency. You’ll bring teams together, communicate clearly at all levels, and build products that are thoughtfully designed to be confidently handed over and scaled by others over time.
About You
- Have hands-on experience building AI-enabled products, workflows, or agent-based solutions. This could be through either professional, or personal projects.
- You are naturally curious about how teams work and enjoy connecting ideas, people and systems.
- Have 5+ years’ experience in Product Management, ideally in B2B SaaS and complex, user-facing products.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Are deeply customer-focused and motivated by solving real problems.
- You have a strong AI-curious mindset, who loves learning, and experimenting.
- Are comfortable working with LLMs, agentic systems, automation tools, or AI-assisted workflows, even if you’re not implementing them yourself.
- Have designed or used AI to improve processes (e.g. discovery synthesis, research, planning, analysis, or operational workflows).
- Thrive in ambiguous, early-stage or experimental environments.
- Bring strong discovery, prioritisation, and strategic thinking skills, backed by commercial awareness.
