Fixed Plant Operations Trainer Asessor / Technical Writer I FIFO I Mining Operations

We are seeking experienced Fixed Plant Operations Trainer Assessors / Technical Writers to support mining operations across FIFO sites. In this role, you will work directly with operational teams to develop and deliver training, conduct competency assessments, and support safe and efficient plant operations. You will apply your technical expertise within real operational environments, helping to build workforce capability while reinforcing safe work practices and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop training materials (training presentations, procedures, assessments etc)
• Deliver training and assessment for fixed plant operators
• Conduct Verification of Competency (VOC) and workplace assessments
• Support operators and supervisors through mentoring and on-the-job coaching
• Ensure training aligns with site safety standards and operational requirements
• Work closely with client teams to improve capability, safety and operational performance
• Maintain training and assessment

Requirements

• Cert IV Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
• Strong background in fixed plant operations (mineral processing)
• Experience developing and delivering workplace training and competency assessments
• Ability to work effectively within rostered FIFO environments
• Experience with technical writing or procedure development (desirable)
• Strong communication and mentoring skills
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence
