Pool Deck Supervisor – Gregory Hills

About the Role

At Aquabliss, our Pool Deck Supervisors are the heartbeat of every shift. This is more than supervision – it’s about leading Swim Teachers, delivering an exceptional learn-to-swim experience and building strong relationships with families.

As a Pool Deck Supervisor, you are responsible for all classes conducted during your shift. You’ll ensure lessons are delivered in line with Aquabliss methodology and our high standards of customer experience.

You’ll provide real-time support and feedback to teachers, assess and grade students, manage pool compliance and ensure parents feel informed and confident in their child’s progress. This role plays a direct part in customer retention and centre performance.

Key Responsibilities     

• Supervise and support swim teachers during your shift, providing continuous feedback
• Conduct student assessments and ensure students are in correct levels
• Deliver structured parent feedback and handle customer enquiries
• Run pre-shift pool deck huddle
• Oversee safety, compliance and WHS requirements
• Complete daily pool water testing and logs
• Manage incidents, first aid situations and complaints
• Step in to teach when required
• Promote centre initiatives and programs

About You

You are confident, organised and love being on pool deck. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy mentoring others while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Essential Qualifications

• Swim Australia Teacher (or equivalent)
• First Aid
• Pool Lifeguard (CPR as a minimum)
• Working With Children Check (if 18 and older)

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 12–18 months swim teaching experience
• Strong leadership presence on pool deck
• Excellent communication and parent engagement skills
• Confident handling complaints and resolving issues
• Ability to motivate and guide a team
• Strong understanding of safety and compliance
