Occupational Therapist

Summary:

We are seeking 2 skilled and passionate Occupational Therapists to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for helping clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life through the use of therapeutic activities in the community. We’re seeking an OT who can build skills with our autistic clients and an OT who can provide compassionate, community based services for clients experiencing psychosocial disability. We deliver our services according to our values of kindness and connection and dedicated and determined.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine clients’ needs and develop treatment plans
• Work with clients to develop goals and objectives for therapy
• Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to help clients achieve their goals
• Monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Educate clients and their families on how to use adaptive equipment and techniques to improve daily living skills
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure clients receive comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of clients’ progress and treatment plans

Qualifications:

• AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
• Drivers licence and use of a car to deliver community based services
• Suitable working with children/police check
• NDIS experience
