Senior Accountant – Warrnambool
Sinclair Wilson is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Accountant to join our Warrnambool team. In this key role, you will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high‑quality accounting, tax and advisory services that support long-term financial success.

You are an experienced and technically capable accounting professional who brings sound judgment, initiative, and a strong commitment to quality. Proactive and detail-oriented, you manage your portfolio with confidence and consistently deliver accurate, timely outcomes for clients. You thrive in a collaborative environment, contribute to process improvement, and provide constructive guidance to less experienced team members. Your professionalism and experience enable you to navigate complexity, build trusted client relationships, and support the broader success of the team and the firm.
Key Attributes
- 10+ years’ experience with advanced technical capability across accounting, Australian Tax, business advisory, and compliance.
- Strong understanding and expertise of accounting standards, tax legislation, and complex reporting requirements.
- Ability to manage a client portfolio independently with excellent time-management skills.
- Demonstrated strength in advisory services, including interpreting financial information and providing strategic insights to clients.
- Confident leadership skills, including mentoring, coaching, and developing junior team members and championing community involvement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted and enduring client relationships.
- High level of analytical thinking and problem-solving capability, particularly in complex or ambiguous scenarios.
- Proactive, reliable, and detail-focused, with a commitment to quality work.
