Description

Silentium Defence is entering a critical growth phase and is seeking an Integrated Test & Evaluation (IT&E) Lead to provide structured authority over integration, verification, validation and readiness decisions across allocated products and services.

This is a high-impact role embedded within Program Delivery not a standalone lab testing function and not a purely theoretical systems engineering position. You will combine governance discipline with practical integration leadership across complex hardware and software systems, including radar and advanced sensing environments.

The Role

Reporting to the Program Manager, you will own the IT&E strategy and execution framework across the product lifecycle. You will ensure defensible verification coverage, maintain end-to-end requirements traceability, manage integration risk, and deliver objective quality evidence to support readiness and customer acceptance decisions.

Working closely with Systems, Software, Hardware and Operations teams, you will provide structured oversight while enabling delivery momentum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead integration, verification and validation planning end-to-end
  • Maintain structured requirements traceability through to objective evidence
  • Define and monitor verification coverage and evidence frameworks
  • Identify and proactively manage cross-discipline integration risk
  • Support readiness reviews, acceptance milestones and governance forums
  • Lead or support FAT/SAT and customer witness testing activities
  • Operate within structured lifecycle models (V-Model or equivalent)

Essential Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Demonstrated leadership of integration and verification activities
  • Strong requirements traceability and verification coverage capability
  • Experience operating within structured product lifecycle environments
  • Proven ability to influence readiness decisions using objective evidence

Experience within defence, aerospace, advanced sensing or other regulated hardware/software environments will be highly regarded.
