This is a rare opportunity to influence strategy at C-suite level while driving hands-on engineering excellence across hardware, software, and data.
What you’ll lead
- A multidisciplinary engineering organisation shaping next-gen sensing technology
- Technical strategy, system architecture, and engineering direction
- The full product lifecycle — from R&D and prototyping through to delivery and sustainment
- Scalable engineering processes, governance, and quality (ISO/MIL-SPEC)
- Partnerships across design, manufacturing, supply chain, and global customers
- A culture built around innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Data-driven decision making to enhance performance and customer value
What you’ll bring
- Executive-level engineering leadership experience
- Strong background in Defence, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or complex systems
- Proven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams
- Strength in governance, quality, compliance, and technical assurance
- Strategic thinking with the ability to turn complexity into clear direction
- A passion for developing high-performing people and scalable capability
- Engineering degree (master’s or PhD an advantage)

- Federal Police Check
- NV1 security clearance (higher levels may be required)
