We are a welcoming, community-focused club,
and our Pro Shop plays an important role in delivering a high quality
experience to our members and visitors. We are currently seeking a friendly and
reliable Pro Shop customer service assistant to join our team.
About the Role
In this hands-on role, you will
be responsible for:
- Delivering outstanding customer service to members and guests
- Managing tee times and ensuring smooth order of play
- Handling
phone enquiries and booking tee times through our computer booking system
- Operating a Point of Sale (POS) system
- Processing retail sales and maintaining merchandise displays
- Coordinating golf cart and hire equipment bookings
- Assisting with club competitions and social golf events
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe Pro Shop environment
We are ideally seeking individuals with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a passion for
delivering great customer service. An interest or understanding of golf would
be idea, but not essential.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Retail sales and cash handling experience
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A friendly and approachable manner
- A current RSA
- An interest or knowledge of golf is desirable
Successful applicants will be
required to work flexible hours including weekends, public holidays and early
mornings.
