Technical Officer – RACAS

The Role:
As a Technical Officer – RACAS you will be driving road networks across
the country to capture RACAS data. Reporting to our Manager – RACAS Delivery,
you will be required to:

Undertake RACAS data capture in a
safe and efficient manner, ensuring that the data is captured to client
specifications and project requirements, while meeting SHEPHERD’s Quality and
Safety conditions.

Be proactive in planning quality
data capture, ensuring files are obtained and a logical sequence is developed,
to increase efficiency.
·
Assume the face of SHEPHERD when
interacting with clients by consistently providing a high level of service and
ensuring high quality capture of asset condition assessment information.
This position is well suited for someone with a sense of adventure, love
for being out on the road and ability to work away from home for extended
periods of time.

About You:
We are specifically seeking candidates who have a love for travel and
driving:
·
Exceptional
communication skills and a high level of computer literacy skills.
·
An ability to
work autonomously and manage your own time to achieve the required outcomes
within the agreed timeframes.
·
Demonstrated
ability to understand standards/ guidelines/ specifications and apply
understanding to deliver on project requirements.
·
Remote and
Regional driving experience.
·
A sound level of
physical fitness to meet position requirements.
·
Valid C Class
Driver’s Licence, White Card, First Aid/CPR
·
Experience as a
Roads Inspector or roads construction experience will be highly regarded.
