Technical Officer – RACAS

The Role:

As a Technical Officer – RACAS you will be driving road networks across the country to capture RACAS data. Reporting to our Manager – RACAS Delivery, you will be required to:

 

·         Undertake RACAS data capture in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring that the data is captured to client specifications and project requirements, while meeting SHEPHERD’s Quality and Safety conditions.

·         Be proactive in planning quality data capture, ensuring files are obtained and a logical sequence is developed, to increase efficiency.

·         Assume the face of SHEPHERD when interacting with clients by consistently providing a high level of service and ensuring high quality capture of asset condition assessment information.

This position is well suited for someone with a sense of adventure, love for being out on the road and ability to work away from home for extended periods of time.

About You:

We are specifically seeking candidates who have a love for travel and driving:

·         Exceptional communication skills and a high level of computer literacy skills.

·         An ability to work autonomously and manage your own time to achieve the required outcomes within the agreed timeframes.

·         Demonstrated ability to understand standards/ guidelines/ specifications and apply understanding to deliver on project requirements.

·         Remote and Regional driving experience.

·         A sound level of physical fitness to meet position requirements. 

·         Valid C Class Driver’s Licence, White Card, First Aid/CPR

  • ·         Experience as a Roads Inspector or roads construction experience will be highly regarded.
