Sentinel Property Group is seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven Transactions Manager to play a leadership role within our Capital Transactions team. Reporting to the Head of Capital Transactions, this position leads complex acquisitions and disposals, provides strategic investment advice to senior leadership, and strengthens Sentinel’s transaction-execution capability across a diversified national portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the evaluation, structuring, and execution of complex property acquisitions and disposals
- Oversee end-to-end due diligence processes across legal, financial, tax, environmental, and technical workstreams
- Review, challenge, and approve sophisticated financial models, including IRR, equity multiple, and scenario analysis
- Lead equity and debt structuring analysis and assess capital optimisation strategies
- Prepare and present high-quality investment memoranda and recommendations to senior leadership
- Drive disposal strategies, including agent selection, pricing strategy, negotiations, and execution
- Provide strategic portfolio and capital management insights in collaboration with Fund Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, financiers, advisors, and industry participants
- Mentor and develop junior team members, and contribute to the continuous improvement of transaction processes
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Property, Real Estate, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related discipline
- 3-5 years’ experience in real estate transactions, private equity, funds management, or institutional investment
- Demonstrated experience leading complex transactions from origination through to completion
- Advanced to expert-level financial modelling capability in Excel
- Strong understanding of Australian commercial real estate markets (industrial, office, retail)
- Experience with Forbury or similar valuation platforms
- Exceptional commercial judgement, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Professional qualifications such as API (CPV), CFA, or equivalent are highly regarded
