Summary
The Project Manager / Delivery Lead is responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of technology and digital projects, ensuring they meet agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Working closely with consultants, technical teams, and business stakeholders, this role drives end‑to‑end project delivery using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies. Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are essential to ensure smooth execution and alignment with organisational and client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
- Lead end‑to‑end management of multiple IT and digital projects.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and documentation.
- Ensure delivery aligns with client goals, business requirements, and solution designs.
- Coordinate effectively with technical and functional teams to support timely and high‑quality execution.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
- Provide clear, proactive communication on project status, risks, and issues.
- Manage expectations, scope, and change requests to minimise delivery impacts.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support positive outcomes.
- Risk, Quality & Governance
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues throughout project lifecycles.
- Ensure all deliverables meet agreed standards, compliance requirements, and governance processes.
- Facilitate project reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Delivery Excellence
- Promote best‑practice delivery approaches and consistent documentation standards.
- Support the improvement of delivery frameworks, templates, and ways of working.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, particularly within Microsoft and cloud ecosystems.
Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Based in Brisbane, with the ability to work 3 days per week in the office.
- 5–8+ years experience delivering IT or digital projects.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies.
- Proficiency with common tools (MS Project/Planner, Azure DevOps, Jira).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Strong problem‑solving, planning, and organisational skills.
Desirable
- Experience delivering Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365 projects.
- Consultancy or client‑facing delivery experience.
- Industry certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum).
