Youth Advisory Council Member (Paid Casual Role) 📍 Collingwood, VIC | Hybrid | 12-month fixed term

Satellite Foundation is seeking passionate young people to join our Youth Advisory Council (YAC). This paid opportunity allows young people with lived experience of supporting a family member with mental health challenges to help shape the future of Satellite’s programs and services.

As a YAC member, you will share your voice, contribute ideas, and collaborate with other young people and staff to influence programs that support children and young people aged 8–25. The role involves attending monthly meetings, participating in project groups, and helping advocate for the needs and experiences of young carers.

About the role

• Casual position for 12 months $43.23 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) + super
• Monthly hybrid meetings and project group participation
• Opportunity to influence programs, policies, and initiatives
