Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with the standards of practice, policies, and procedures of our organization. The successful candidate will have a passion for patient care, exceptional clinical skills and experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients within the organization.
2. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including physicians, physiotherapists, dietitians and social workers.
3. Administer medications as per doctor’s orders and monitor side effects.
4. Maintain accurate documentation related to patient care including assessments, treatments provided and response/outcomes achieved.
5. Supervise junior nurses or students during their clinical placement at the organization.
6. Participate actively in continuous professional development activities that enhance knowledge about current practices/advancements in nursing.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution
2. Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
3.Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an RN
4.Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) & Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
5.Experience working within acute care setting would be considered an asset.
