Leasing Agent / Business Development Manager

Summary:

Saliba are looking for a reliable and professional Leasing Agent to work alongside our exceptional Property Management and Business Development teams.

The Leasing Agent will be responsible for finding tenants for rental properties by showing properties, responding to enquiry, developing listings and cross checking applications. This role has an option to dual role as a Business Development Manager for an experienced Leasing Agent looking to progress into the BDM field.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct client needs analysis to ensure a good match between tenant requirements and available properties.
• Arrange property open homes and provide detailed property information to potential tenants.
• Conduct rental application checks (including background checks, credit checks, and reference verification) on potential tenants.
• Manage lease agreement documentation, including negotiating terms and executing leases.
• Ensure properties are ready to lease by coordinating maintenance and cleaning when necessary.
• Conduct entry inspections for new leases, ensuring the property is compliant and ready to be leased.
• Stay up to date on property leasing market trends, regulations, and best practices.
• Conduct routine inspections at rental properties and report any maintenance issues to the Property Manager.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Certificate of registration
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of the property leasing market and regulations.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Comfort with technology to manage listings and communications with tenants.
• Have driving licence and car.
