Warehouse & Manufacturing Assistant

About the role This full-time Warehouse & Manufacturing Assistant role is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Safety Xpress, a leading provider of personal protective equipment and safety solutions.

Based in Prestons, NSW, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our warehouse and manufacturing operations.

What you’ll be doing

• Assisting with the receiving, picking, packing and dispatching of stock items

• Maintaining accurate inventory records and stock levels

• Operating machinery and equipment in the warehouse and production areas

• Participating in the assembly and production of safety products

• Adhering to all health and safety procedures and policies

• General Pick / Packing of orders

• Supporting the wider team with general warehouse and manufacturing duties as required

What we’re looking for

• Experience in a similar warehouse or manufacturing role, ideally within the safety or logistics industry

• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work efficiently and accurately

• Good attention to detail and a safety-focused mindset

• Basic mechanical skills and the ability to operate warehouse equipment

• A proactive and reliable approach to work

• A forklift licence
