Due to the continuing growth of SafeGauge, we are requiring another team member for our production facility based in Beresfield.

About the role:

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Warehouse & Production Technician to support our end-to-end manufacturing and delivery process. This is a critical role responsible for goods receivable, inventory control, kit assembly, and dispatch — including international shipments and Dangerous Goods compliance. You will play a key part in ensuring products are built, prepared, and shipped accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

Goods Inward & Inventory

  • Receive and check incoming goods against purchase orders
  • Coordinate inspection and ensure stock is correctly stored and labelled
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts
  • Pick and issue stock to support production and servicing

Order Fulfilment & Shipping

  • Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately and on time
  • Prepare international shipping documentation (commercial invoices, export paperwork)
  • Coordinate shipments, including compliance with Dangerous Goods (DG) requirements (lithium batteries)

Kit Assembly & Production Support

  • Prepare and build product kits in line with BOMs and work instructions
  • Assemble components using hand tools
  • Support production, testing, and basic diagnostics as required

Workplace & Compliance

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment
  • Follow WHS procedures and company standards

About You:

  • Reliable with strong attendance and time management
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience in stores, warehousing, production, or assembly
  • Experience with international shipping and export documentation
  • Familiarity with Dangerous Goods (DG), particularly lithium batteries, is highly desirable
  • DG certification (or willingness to obtain) is preferred
  • Mechanically minded with good hand skills
  • Able to follow processes and work instructions
  • Team player with a proactive attitude
