SAE Group is a national provider of renewable energy solutions for residential, commercial, and off-grid customers. We are seeking motivated and results-driven Energy Consultants to support our continued growth across solar and battery solutions in Western Australia.

As a supplier of premium technology solutions, you can take pride in representing high-quality products from leading brands such as SunPower, REC, Tindo, Fronius, Sungrow, and Tesla.

In this role, you will be equipped with everything you need to succeed, including a company vehicle, phone, laptop, and a full schedule of qualified leads and appointments. While you focus on closing sales, SAE will support you with an experienced team of electrical engineers and administrative professionals, allowing you to maximise your time with customers.

Comprehensive training will be provided in SAE’s product range, system design, and solar sales processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design tailored solar and battery solutions for residential and commercial customers, including small, medium, and large-scale systems
  • Generate and convert new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and proactive business development
  • Conduct site inspections and deliver professional consultations
  • Assess customer requirements and budgets, prepare accurate quotations, and follow up to secure sales
  • Prepare and submit all necessary documentation to support compliance and project delivery
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle
  • Submit reports and participate in sales meetings and product training as required

About You

  • A self-motivated professional who can work independently and take ownership of results
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities
  • Proven sales experience (solar, battery, energy, construction, or service-based industries preferred but not essential)
  • Technically proficient, with the ability to use CRM systems, quoting tools, and solar design software
