About us
SA Mushrooms is only a 30-minute drive from the City and just 6 minutes from the closest Northern Connector or Northern Expressway exit.
Established in 1998, SA Mushrooms is proudly family-owned and operated. Family run SA Mushrooms has strong familial and cultural values of hard work, honesty, innovation, and pride. These values drive the production of the freshest and highest quality mushrooms that are enjoyed by families nationwide.
There are many reasons to join our team. Here’s what makes SA Mushrooms a great place to work:
Culture: As a family business that has expanded significantly, we are dedicated to retaining the culture and values that defined our early days. Working in small, familial teams, our staff are kept stimulated, socialised and supported by each other. We have created a welcoming, multi-cultural workplace that rewards honesty, pride, and hard work.
Job security: Unlike many horticulture jobs, we are in full crop production 52-weeks a year, meaning our staff have a reliable and long-term source of income.
Safety: The safety of our workplace and staff is paramount to our operation, and we have gone beyond what is required in implementing industry best practices to ensure our staff can enjoy a healthy, happy, and fair working environment.
