IT Support Technician

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our team in Melbourne, Victoria. This is a newly created role in alignment with RWAV IT Roadmap digital transformation. Reporting to the Manager Systems and Technology, the IT Support Technician will be primarily responsible for delivering comprehensive IT support to RWAV staff in collaboration with the IT team and the managed service providers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide first-line technical support to staff, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
• Assist in the installation and configuration of computer systems and applications.
• Maintain and update IT documentation, including user manuals and troubleshooting guides.
• Monitor and manage IT inventory, ensuring all equipment is accounted for and in good working order.
• Collaborate with external IT service providers to resolve complex technical issues.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on new software and IT systems as required.

Qualifications:

• Two to three years’ experience in a similar role.
• A degree or diploma in a relevant field is preferred.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications are advantageous.
• Proficiency in technical troubleshooting on the MS Windows platform and resolving M365-related issues.
• Experience in Azure and M365 administration (including MS Teams, SharePoint, and MS Exchange) is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated expertise in MS Intune device enrolment and management for Windows and iOS devices is essential.
• Experience with PowerShell is beneficial.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Good understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, SMTP, etc.
• Jira administration and service management experience are highly valued.
• c experience is considered an asset.
