About RSPCA Queensland
For nearly 140 years, RSPCA Queensland has been a leading animal welfare charity, dedicated to improving the lives of animals – whether domestic, farmed, or native. We care for over 42,000 animals annually, relying on the generosity of animal lovers like you to fund 91% of our life-changing services.
Our Purpose: We exist for animals to live better lives.
About the Role
As our Product Manager, Applications – you’ll take ownership of RSPCA Queensland’s core digital applications and shape how they support our people, animals and community.
You’ll lead the end-to-end management of a portfolio of enterprise platforms including Salesforce CRM, NPSP, case management systems, website and e-commerce. You’ll be responsible for defining product vision, driving delivery, managing suppliers and ensuring each system is reliable, secure and delivering real value to the organisation.
Sitting at the intersection of technology, operations and strategy, this role works closely with stakeholders across the organisation to prioritise initiatives, balance innovation with stability, and continuously improve how our systems support animal welfare outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
You’re a strategic, hands-on product leader who thrives in complexity and knows how to bring people, systems and priorities together to deliver real outcomes.
You’re confident owning a portfolio of applications end-to-end – from vision and roadmap through to delivery and ongoing optimisation and you naturally balance big-picture thinking with operational excellence.
You build trusted relationships across technical and non-technical teams, communicate with clarity, and influence decisions with confidence. You’re equally comfortable leading people, managing suppliers, and getting into the detail when it matters.
Most importantly, you’re driven by purpose and want your work to contribute to something meaningful.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
- Own the product vision, roadmap and backlog for a portfolio of enterprise applications.
- Lead the lifecycle management of key platforms including Salesforce CRM, NPSP, case management systems and website/e-commerce.
- Prioritise initiatives based on business value, risk and organisational priorities.
- Lead agile and hybrid delivery of system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into effective product solutions.
- Manage suppliers and ensure delivery against performance expectations and contractual obligations.
- Oversee application support models, including Level 2 and Level 3 support in partnership with the Service Desk.
- Ensure smooth transition of new features and systems into business-as-usual operations.
- Maintain governance across applications, including privacy, cybersecurity and data management requirements.
- Lead, coach and develop a team of application specialists and administrators.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Demonstrated experience managing digital products or enterprise applications in a complex environment.
- Strong experience working with platforms such as Salesforce CRM (including NPSP), case management systems, and/or website/e-commerce platforms.
- Proven ability to lead agile or hybrid delivery across projects, enhancements and continuous improvement.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers and holding them accountable to performance and delivery outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience supporting IT Service Desk functions, including Level 2 and Level 3 application support.
- Sound understanding of service management, cybersecurity, privacy and data governance.
- Excellent prioritisation, organisation and time management skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- A genuine interest in animal welfare and alignment with the mission of RSPCA Queensland.
