RSA is seeking an Experienced HSET Advisor to join a long-term Greenfield mining project located in Croydon, QLD (approximately 500km west of Cairns, QLD). We offer competitive remuneration, flights (for FIFO), accommodation, and meals. Future FIFO & DIDO opportunities across Australia are also available.
Reporting into the Systems Manager (Safety, Environment & Compliance), the HSET Advisor will be responsible for providing day-to-day HSET support to operational teams across this busy surface mining project.
Working closely with the project team, you’ll provide hands on support across Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, and Training compliance for RSA.
What You Bring…
Previous experience in HSE, Training, or Compliance role within mining or resources.
Relevant OHS qualifications (Cert IV WHS or higher)
Cert IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
You will hold S123 (also known as S1, S2, S3/G1 G8 G9/QMS/MSSS)
Capability to pass Standard Open Pit Mine Medicals, National Police Checks, and random Drug & Alcohol testing
First Aid Certificate (& CPR)
Hold a valid Australian Driver’s Licence and General Construction Induction (White) Card
ICAM Lead Investigator training (desirable)
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and engage frontline teams
A commitment to safe work practices and adherence to WHS and environmental requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
