Casual and Part Time Concierge

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented casual and part time Concierge to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients and guests. The Concierge will be the first point of contact for members and visitors and will be responsible for ensuring that their needs are met promptly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and approachable demeanor, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Building rapport with the membership base being their ‘first point of contact’ with members, guests, and visitors, positively promoting the Club in all interactions
• Answer all incoming telephone calls are answered promptly and directed in a professional manner to the appropriate destination
• Ensure Concierge station is presentable, professional, and operational for the concierge team
• Visitor Management – meet and greet members and guests, ensuring visitors are signed in as per the legislation requirements for Clubs
• Responding to queries on Club functions and activities 
• Managing bookings and receiving payments for events
• Process membership renewals including invoicing, receipting, follow up calls
• Invoice creation and daily reconciliation of Concierge payments
• Administrative support to the office and wider RMYC team as required

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience as a Concierge, Receptionist, or similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
