We’re a family-run business, deeply rooted in values that span generations. As we expand, we’re looking for a Tractor Driver to join us on this exciting journey and play a pivotal role in the future of Rombola Family Farms team based in Douglas-Daly farm.

Key operational accountabilities include:

• Operating big tractor engaged in transfer of produce bins and other containers.
• Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops.
• Perform basic set up and operation of irrigation equipment.
• Apply pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers to crops.
• Clean and maintain irrigation ditches.
• Assisting with minor repairs and maintenance of vehicles, assets, and equipment.
• Perform farm labouring and maintenance tasks.
• Perform daily pre-start checks.
• Record information about crops.
• Dig and plant seeds, or transplant seedlings by hand.
• Harvest fruits and vegetables by hand.
• Load agricultural products into trucks or storage facilities.

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

• Successful applicants will be required to organise their own transport to Douglas-Daly.
• Current unencumbered Driver’s License and transport.
• Forklift license desirable.
• Chemical Accreditation (ChemCert) desirable.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with a can-do attitude.
• Team player who can work effectively with people from different backgrounds.
• Awareness and ability to adhere to WHS requirements.
• Flexibility in hours worked to achieve operational targets.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
