We have an exciting opportunity at our Minmi Hotel. This venue is a recently renovated family friendly hotel with classic old world charm. It will become a busy multi-faceted hospitality venue. We are looking for a Licensee to run the day to day operations and management of the busy hotel. The successful applicant will have a wealth of experience in managing hospitality venues, along with the following skills: – Minimum 2 years experience as a 2IC or Venue Manager in a similar venue who is looking to step up and take on more responsibility – friendly and outgoing personality, with the ability to talk to a range of different people, ages, demographics, etc – passion to drive the business and achieve sales targets and bring the best out of the staff they work with to help achieve these goals – ability to develop promotions and strategies to improve profitability of the hotel – experience with Pokies, TAB & Keno are essential – experience rostering is beneficial – experience managing hotels with large bistro operations preferred – current NSW Licensee training and Advanced RCG are required, however we can help you obtain these for the right applicant – current drivers license and own transport – ability to give and receive constructive criticism for the benefit of staff and the management team – A live-in residence can be provided if needed The successful applicant with receive: – a full time salary position with the flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekend and night work – the training needed to succeed in their role
