As we enter our next phase of strategic growth, we’re seeking an exceptional leader to join our Executive Leadership Team (ELT) to lead and grow our Recoveries and Repossession client services.

About the Role

As General Manager (GM) Business Development –Recoveries and Repossessions, you’ll hold a pivotal Executive position driving commercial strategy, operational delivery and client growth.

  • Strategic Influence: As a member of the ELT reporting to the CEO, you’ll shape our business development strategy, identify market opportunities, and contribute directly to business direction and strategic growth.
  • Commercial Leadership: Own the end-to-end commercial lifecycle of major partnerships including RFI/RFP responses, contractual negotiations, pricing, and renewals. Optimising value while managing risk and leading operational delivery.
  • Executive Client Management: Develop trust, satisfaction, and retention through regular engagement, embedding robust feedback mechanisms and proactive issue resolution.
  • Operational Leadership: Lead the Recoveries and Repossessions business units to deliver integrated client focused solutions that align with service level expectations and business objectives.
  • Culture and Capability: Champion a high-performance client-centric culture by embedding customer feedback into decision-making processes and initiative design.
  • Market Presence: Represent RS across industry bodies and professional forums, elevating our brand visibility and influence within the recoveries, investigations and mercantile sector.

    About You

    • Senior leadership experience (5+ years) in client relationship management, business development, or account leadership within B2B service environments
    • Proven track record managing enterprise accounts and delivering measurable revenue and margin growth
    • Demonstrated ability to negotiate complex commercial agreements and drive favourable outcomes for all stakeholders
    • Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of pricing models, contract structures, and revenue forecasting
    • Proven ability to lead and inspire operational service delivery teams towards shared goals
    • Data-informed decision-maker who uses client metrics, performance data, and market insights to inform strategy

    Highly Valued:

    • Experience in Recoveries, Repossessions or Mercantile services sectors.
    • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
    • Track record leading organisational growth and transformation activities.
    • Proven ability to represent organisations effectively in industry forums and professional networks.
