About the Role

As our Finance Manager / Financial Controller, you’ll be instrumental in driving our financial operations excellence by:

  • Leading process improvement initiatives and implementing robust financial controls for enhanced efficiency and visibility of real-time data.
  • Managing comprehensive month-end close processes and delivering accurate, timely management reporting.
  • Processing day-to-day financial transactions with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Building advanced reporting capabilities on lead indicators to enable proactive business management and early intervention opportunities.
  • Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting budget and forecast processes with detailed variance analysis.
  • Manage and report on rolling weekly cashflow forecasts and working capital
  • Managing accounts payable, payroll processing, and employee reimbursements in compliance with company policies.
  • Ensuring full regulatory compliance and supporting internal and external audit procedures.
  • Cross-training within the finance team and providing coverage during leave periods.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to maintain productive relationships and represent the finance function professionally.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience with cloud-based ERP systems, particularly NetSuite.
  • CPA or equivalent professional accounting certification.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • Demonstrated experience in team management and professional development.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite with expert-level Excel skills.
  • Systems and process optimization experience with proven ability to document procedures.
  • Previous payroll processing experience and knowledge of employee earnings legislation.
  • Satisfactory National Police Check (required).

Desirable:

  • ERP implementation, configuration and training experience.
  • Commercial or corporate finance background.
  • Knowledge of trust account operations and financial services regulatory requirements.
  • Power Automate experience
