About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Rise Early Learning Charmhaven as an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) in our Toddler space. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality education, supporting meaningful learning outcomes, and fostering an environment that benefits both children and your team. - Dedicated, enthusiastic, and reliable, with a commitment to excellence for children and willingness to grow with the service
- Ready to implement contemporary, evidence-informed pedagogy
- Open to our unique and innovative approach to programming and practice
- Shows an interest in understanding and exploring the RIE approach.
Essential Criteria:
- Valid NSW Working With Children Check
- Demonstrated understanding of contemporary child safe practices, including safeguarding responsibilities
- Available for full-time work across service operational days and hours (Mon-Fri, 6:30am – 6:30pm), with flexibility as required
- Strong recent experience as an Early Childhood Teacher (preferred) or in a leadership role, ideally with a similar age group, and the ability to mentor and guide practice within a team
- Recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree
- Current Food Safety training (completed prior to first working shift)
- Current Child Protection training, including a recognised course code for Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (completed prior to first working shift)
- Current Child Safety training (Geccko), with a certificate to be provided (completed prior to first working shift).
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates are required (at your own cost) for appointed Responsible Persons prior to commencement, and are otherwise strongly encouraged.
