About the Role

We’re looking for dedicated Multi Service Support Educators (MSSE) who thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy variety, and are open to working at multiple locations, to join us on a casual basis. In this role, you’ll be assigned a conveniently located “home service”, while also supporting Rise’s other Sydney services during staff absences, shortages, transitions, and other operational needs. You’ll also model high-quality practice and share your knowledge and experience across teams.

  • Ready to implement contemporary, evidence-informed pedagogy
  • Open to our unique and innovative approach to programming and practice
  • Shows an interest in understanding and exploring the RIE approach
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications are encouraged (at your own cost).

Essential Criteria:

  • Valid NSW Working With Children Check
  • Demonstrated understanding of contemporary child safe practices, including safeguarding responsibilities
  • Current drivers’ license with own vehicle or easily able to access and use public transport
  • Available for casual work across our three Sydney services – Abbotsford, Camperdown, and North Ryde – either multiple locations or one centre exclusively, with flexibility as required
  • Considerable recent experience in the Early Childhood sector and a similar or permanent role
  • ACECQA-approved Certificate III and/or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or actively working towards one of these qualifications
  • Current Food Safety training (completed prior to first working shift)
  • Current Child Protection training, including a recognised course code for Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk (completed prior to first working shift)
  • Current Child Safety training (Geccko), with a certificate to be provided (completed prior to first working shift).
