The Administration Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the operational efficiency of our organisation in Cairns, Queensland. Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and functionality.
  • Assist in the preparation and organisation of meetings, including scheduling, agenda creation, and minute-taking.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and postal mail.
  • Support the team with data entry and record-keeping, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries for staff as required.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of office procedures and policies.
  • Provide general administrative support to various departments as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in administration or business is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred but not essential.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
