The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation (BCF) is one of Rev. Bill Crews Foundation’s most trusted frontline charities, supporting the community for over 40 years.
Our mission is simple but powerful: to address homelessness and hardship by providing essential services including food, social welfare, healthcare, education, and community programs.
THE ROLE
This is a unique opportunity to bring people together through meaningful, well-executed events that make a real impact.
As our Event Coordinator, you’ll support the planning, coordination, and delivery of events across BCF. From weekly church services to large-scale community events like Christmas Day, you’ll play a key role in ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and in line with our mission.
This is a full-time role (38 hours per week). Flexibility is essential, as the role includes Sundays, evenings, and major BCF events throughout the year.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
In this role, you will:
- Support the planning and coordination of events across BCF
- Assist with weekly church services and related activities
- Coordinate event schedules, timelines, and operational plans
- Liaise with internal teams to organise event requirements
- Assist with volunteer coordination during events
- Support event logistics, including setup and pack down
- Maintain event calendars and documentation
- Provide onsite support to ensure events run smoothly
- Help resolve operational issues during event delivery

You’re an organised, proactive professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys bringing moving parts together to deliver successful events.
You’ll also bring:
- Experience in events, coordination, or administrative roles
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Confidence working with multiple teams and stakeholders
- A calm, reliable approach under pressure
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Flexibility to support Sundays, evenings, and major events is essential.
