Your Opportunity

RSGX is seeking experienced and motivated HV Cable Jointers to join our team. Based out of our Victorian office and working under an ETU EBA, this role involves carrying out high-voltage cable jointing works across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria within various sectors of the electrical industry. This position is suited to qualified professionals who take pride in delivering high-quality work while maintaining strong safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform HV cable jointing and terminations up to 33kV
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Conduct fault finding and problem-solving on HV cable systems
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of completed work
• Adhere to all company and site-specific safety procedures

What We’re Looking For

You are a reliable and skilled HV cable jointer who can take initiative, manage their workload effectively, and contribute positively to project outcomes. Bringing a proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement is essential. Your skills & experience include.

• A Grade Electrician licence (essential)
• Proven experience in HV cable jointing
• Cert 3 ESI Distribution Cable Jointing (highly regarded)
• Experience working with HSL and PILC cables (advantageous)
• Familiarity with VLF cable testing (advantageous)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and commitment to safety
