The Company:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs on heavy mobile plant and light vehicles
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues in the field
  • Conduct minespec inspections to ensure compliance for vehicles and mobile plant
  • Complete accurate documentation of all maintenance activities in the site’s maintenance system
  • Collaborate with project teams to minimise downtime and maximise machine availability
  • Carry out pre-start checks and ensure roadworthy compliance before releasing equipment
  • Manage timely and cost-effective ordering of parts and consumables
  • Maintain strict safety standards and conduct thorough compliance checks

Key Requirements:

  • Trade qualification (Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter / Mechanic essential)
  • Proven experience with mobile plant and heavy vehicle maintenance
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in remote locations
  • Experience in heavy road transport service and repair
