The Role
We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to oversee daily operations at our new site in Cranbourne. With the exciting expansion of Repurpose It, we’re looking forward to growing our team at this location.
This hands-on role is responsible for leading and supporting a small team to ensure safe, efficient, and productive operations across site activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and support team members to meet daily operational targets
- Maintain yard safety, compliance, and stock management
- Operate and oversee heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, and forklifts
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics and maintenance coordination
- Drive a strong safety culture through toolbox talks and daily checks
About you:
- Must hold an Excavator Ticket
- Additional relevant equipment licences (Excavator, Forklift, HC Truck – highly regarded)
- Proven leadership experience in a Landfill, Quarry, construction, or recycling environment
- Confident operating heavy machinery (Loader/Excavator/Forklift tickets preferred)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A hands-on leader who leads by example and values teamwork
- Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
