About the Role
We’re currently seeking experienced Yard Operator to join our Hallam Yard. The Yard Operator is a multi-skilled role that is responsible for operating plant, equipment and vehicles contributing to the day-to-day functionality and operational requirements of the yard.
Role Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Operating front-end loaders, excavators, forklifts and other equipment
- Maintain plant and equipment to a high standard
- Complete pre-starts
- Raise notification and report equipment defects
- Operating other machines you are licensed for as required
- Be committed to up skilling themselves and participate in training provided
- Proficient loading equipment and multi-tasking
- Proficient loading truck safely and efficiently
About You
The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:
- Front end loader ticket with experience
- Excavator license
- Forklift ticket with experience
- Whitecard
- Australian Driver’s License
- Right to Work in Australia
- Team player who can work well with others
- Police check and pre-employment medical including alcohol and drug screening (to be completed during the recruitment process)
