With the retirement of our long standing Non Executive Advisor, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Non Executive Advisor (IT, Systems & Digital Capability) to strengthen Board and Executive decision making relating to technology, digital investments, systems optimisation and long-term digital capability. This role plays a significant part in ensuring strong alignment between technology decisions, business strategy and organisational growth.
Key Selection Criteria
We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially minded advisor with:
• 30+ years’ leadership experience in agriculture, stockfeed or commodities trading
• At least 15+ years’ senior executive or board-level experience, with strong financial interpretation and acumen
• Proven experience as a Director within Australian grain production, with complementary board skills
• Deep knowledge of the Australian grain supply chain
• Expertise in delegation, role definition and strategic leadership
• Strong background in vision-setting, business strategy and achieving operational/financial targets
• Demonstrated ability to meet clearly defined goals and objectives
• Ability to provide advisory direction to the Leadership Team: CEO, CFO, GM Commercial, GM Operations, GM Commodities, Commodities Manager and P&C
• Solid understanding of the stockfeed industry, including economic drivers
• Postgraduate qualifications
• Experience in R&D, product development and innovation
• Knowledge of regulatory environments, sustainability and governance reporting

Key Responsibilities
• Provide trusted challenge and guidance on IT, digital capability, systems and integrations
• Pressure-test major technology investments and vendor proposals
• Translate technical concepts into clear commercial and strategic implications
• Support alignment of systems, processes and people
• Contribute to R&D, innovation, governance and sustainability discussions
• Bring expertise relevant to the company’s strategic, operational and compliance obligations
Engagement Model
• Up to six in-room Board meetings annually
• Light-touch preparation
• Direct CEO access as required
• Additional involvement during major strategy or systems cycles
Boundaries
• Advisory role only
• No director authority
• No operational or project delivery responsibilities
Term & Review
• Initial 12 month term, with renewal following formal review and mutual agreement
Remuneration Philosophy
• Advisory fee aligned to judgement, experience and value delivered — not time based
