Summary:
The Chief Technology & Information Officer (CTIO) will be part of the Leadership Team and is responsible for setting and executing Reid Stockfeeds’ technology strategy so the business becomes more efficient, better connected, more data-driven, safer, and better equipped to scale. The role exists to ensure technology supports operational excellence, commercial performance, decision-making, and future growth across a multi-site stockfeed manufacturing business.
Key responsibilities include building a practical technology roadmap, improving the reliability and usefulness of core systems, strengthening data governance and reporting visibility, and identifying disciplined opportunities for automation and AI. The CTIO works closely with operations, finance, procurement, quality, nutrition, sales, and people leaders so technology is fit for purpose, commercially grounded, and aligned with Reid’s Summit 500 Strategy.
This role plays a critical part in simplifying processes, reducing manual work, improving cyber
resilience, and lifting confidence in systems across the business. Functioning as a technology figurehead internally and with external partners, the individual accepting the role will help convert business needs into strong systems, useful data, practical digital capability, and scalable ways of working.
Responsibilities:

- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the technology team.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in technology and data management.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
Educational Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, business systems, or a related field.
Senior Technology Leadership Experience
• Significant leadership experience in technology, digital transformation, systems, or IT operations, preferably in an operationally complex environment.
Operational and Commercial Acumen
• Proven ability to align systems, data, and digital priorities with manufacturing, supply chain, working capital, margin, and customer service outcomes.
Systems, Data and Integration Capability
• Experience leading systems integration, reporting improvement, process automation, master data discipline, and cross-functional technology projects.
Cyber Security and Risk Awareness
• Strong understanding of cyber security, access controls, business continuity, vendor risk, and technology governance.
Stakeholder and Change Leadership
• Ability to translate technical matters into practical business language, influence senior stakeholders, and lead disciplined change across multiple teams and sites.
Vendor Management
• Experience selecting, negotiating with, and managing external technology and service partners to agreed outcomes.
